Work Permit

Work Permits & Visas

With its high standard of living, high-paying wages, and countless career opportunities. It’s no surprise Canada is one of the most sought-after destinations for foreign workers.

Employers are required by law to pay foreign workers similar wages paid to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Canada also has in place laws and regulations to protect foreign workers, ensuring they are treated and compensated fairly.

As a foreign national, usually, you need to apply for a work permit; with some exceptions where you might be eligible to work without requesting one.

There are different types of work permits available depending on your specific situation, such as open work permits, employer-specific permits, and on some occasions; you may need an LMIA (Labor Market Impact Assessment) from your employer prior to obtaining a work permit. A process which we are familiar with as well.

There are more than 100 work permit options, classified under different streams and eligibility requirements. If you would like to know more about the programs available or find out if you are eligible, please contact us below!
